The problem

Remote workers wanted places to live and work together around the world; hosts had the spaces. There was no trusted marketplace connecting the two — so I built one, bootstrapped, and ran it for six years.

Approach

• Bootstrapped from €0 with no outside capital — designed and drove the growth systems hands-on, directing specialists only where needed.
• Built a custom integrated booking system and Stripe marketplace payments so supply and demand could transact end-to-end.
• Architected a programmatic-SEO engine — keyword architecture, page templates and content logic — as a compounding acquisition channel.
• Wrote and ran the email & SMS lifecycle behind activation and repeat bookings: segmentation, automation and the A/B tests, not just the brief.
