Invest — StockSimulator.io

The problem

Most stock simulators feel like spreadsheets. I wanted one that feels like a premium neobank — so people actually enjoy learning to invest, and I get a sandbox to explore AI-driven financial experiences as an active private investor.

Approach

• Designed the whole experience first — pure black, one signature green, a custom chart engine — then built it natively: SwiftUI on iOS, Next.js on the web, Supabase for data and auth.
• Built a real chart engine rather than dropping in a charting library: live ticks, market-calendar awareness, Revolut-matched directional colouring, and a single source of truth for portfolio value that stays exact to the cent.
• Layered AI in as an ingredient, not a gimmick — a Claude-powered advisor and education — with every number coming from the data layer, never the model.
• Engineered a programmatic-SEO marketing site designed to scale to thousands of live-data pages without tripping thin-content filters.
